Glow Skin Glow

Hey Y’all Hey! Kijan ou Ye! How are you doing?

Welcome to my favorites series! This will be the first of a few introducing you all to my favorite skincare products. To be clear, I am not a skincare expert. I’m just a girl who went through many trials and tribulations trying products to find the best ones for my combination skin. It took me forever to find a facial moisturizer that kept my face hydrated throughout the day without feeling dry and leaving dry patches before I even leave the house. For this reason, I am starting with my favorite facial moisturizers.

I’ve always appreciated a good, healthy skincare routine. But when I became pregnant, that’s when I literately became obsessed with skincare. I had to switch up my entire skincare when I was pregnant…find out why here.

So in no particular order, here is my roundup of moisturizers I keep in rotation:

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream

I was first introduced to Laneige through a Voxbox I received in the past. Read all about my experiences with Voxboxes here. Laneige is a wonderful Korean skincare product but I wanted to find a dupe. This cream by Neutrogena is the perfect dupe from the texture to how it feels on my skin. I love to use this product on days when I’m not going out and at night.

Olay Regenerist Whip & Olay Luminous Whip

Let’s talk about Olay Luminous first. I was looking for a product that had SPF to protect my skin from the sun. I came across this product and it has been a staple in my routine. It’s light and applies so smoothly. It’s also great as a priming moisturizer when I wear makeup for that flawless look.

I may not be old yet but I hear it’s good for the skin to start combating old age issues before they appear. So because of that I started using Olay Regenerist Whip face moisturizer SPF 25. It’s suppose to provide a lifted look and diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Now because I don’t have fine lines or wrinkles, I can’t attest to that but it does provide a lifted look. The consistency is a light creamy texture that feels firm when applied to my skin.

Palmer’s Skin Therapy Face Oil

Another wonderful product I received in a past voxbox that has become a staple in my routine. The Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil claims to help with the improvement and brighten tone and texture of the face. I use this oil to seal in my moisturizer and it definitely helps to brighten the tone and texture of my face. What I truly love about this oil is that it smells good and it contains Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter which is great for the skin. A little of this oil goes a long way so that you don’t feel too greasy.

Bliss Bright Idea Vitamin C Pro Collagen

Lately, I’ve been looking for a moisturizer that contains Vitamin C to give my skin that extra glow after giving birth. Thanks to Influenster, I received this product by Bliss in my latest voxbox and instantly I have added it to my line up. This cream is nice and thick, so you don’t need a lot and it’s super moisturizing where it doesn’t leave any dry patches on my face.

Gariner Clearly Brighter SPF 15

Another Vitamin C moisturizer I love is this one by Garnier. I love it because it’s light and it contains SPF. This moisturizer goes on so smoothly and leaves my skin feeling so soft.

Olay Whip Ultimate SPF 55

I loved Olay Luminous Whip so much, so when Olay came out with this product I had to get it and I love it just as much as the Luminious if not more. What really made me purchase this item was the fact that it had SPF 55 and it’s a facial sunscreen. I love my moisturizers with SPF, but this is strictly a sunscreen product and it doesn’t leave white streaks on my face like other sunscreen products.

L’Oreal Revitalift

Another great moisturizer that helps to firm my face that I love using in rotation. Also, it’s another product I received in a past voxbox.

Now when I started writing this roundup I honestly didn’t realize this was going to be a list of products from past voxboxes and this is not even a sponsored post. So, if you take anything useful from this roundup, I hope you realize how effective Influenster has been in allowing me to sample free products to determine if I love them and as you can tell I absolutely do.

What are some of your favorite facial moisturizers? Let me know.

Signing Out,

Windy

These are all wonderful products and my mom swears by Oil of Olay. I love the neutropenia products and just purchased a Vitamin C Peel system from Philosophy and cannot wait to try it as Vitamin C products are my favorite 🙂 Thank you for sharing!
