It’s My Birthday!

Thirty-Fine! AKA Thirty-Five!

Hey Y’all Hey! Kijan ou Ye! How are you doing?

Happy birthday to me!

I am blessed and happy to see make it another year around the sun.

I am grateful for life.

For my birthday this year, I just wanted to spend time with my family and baby. Since I turned 35, I decided to come up with 5 things I’ve learned in my 30s so far. The past year we have been living in a pandemic and I am grateful that I am alive today and able to celebrate life.

5 Things I’ve learned in my 30s

Don’t beat yourself up

I am choosing not to be too hard on myself. I am letting go of self doubt and investing in myself. I am learning that it’s okay to make mistakes and not to dwell on them. We all make mistakes, as long as we learn from them and learn to not repeat the same mistakes.

Never stop learning

I am soaking up knowledge. Knowledge from my peers, books, etc. Learning everything I can because learning something new should never stop. I don’t know everything, so reading and consuming things are important.

Live in the moment

The best moments happen without a plan. So, I am choosing to live in the moment. I am choosing to live with joy and enjoy life because as we know life is short. Embracing all the small moments especially with my son.

You are able

I am capable of everything. If I put my mind to something, I can do it. Know that you are capable and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Work hard for what you want

I am working hard for what I want. I am working hard at saving, working hard at creating a life to not complain about. Working hard at fighting generational curses and create generational and intergenerational wealth. I am working hard for my happiness and my son’s happiness.

I am the main character of this story…MY STORY and I will do everything in my power to continue to learn and live a joyful life.

So, Happy Birthday to me and all my fellow Leo’s!

Until the next post…

Signing Out,

Live with purpose, Love with passion, Laugh with pleasure
