Hey Y’all Hey! Kijan ou Ye! How are you?
Welcome December!
It seems like this year flew by with everything that we dealt with from quarantine life to all the senseless killings of Black people to all the lives we lost this year and to the shit show election/politics. This year feels like we went through 5 years in one.
Although this year has been one heck of a roller coaster, I for one am super thankful for what this year has given me.
It’s always important to dwell on the good versus the bad. We all deal with difficult and sad situations but having thanksgiving and gratitude in your heart will help you overcome that.

Thanksgiving & Gratitude
Now I’m not one to be happy 24/7 and I have my moments where I complain over and over. However, I am learning that the more I see the brighter side of things, the more less stress I am and the happier I become.
So here are FIVE things that I am thankful for in 2020
Health
First and foremost, I am thankful for my health. With all that happened this year I am extremely grateful to have and maintain my health.
Work
Although I complain about my boss to my close friends, I am thankful to have a job that I can depend on.
Quarantine Life
I’m thankful for quarantine life because it allowed me to spend the first year of my sons life with him. Instead of having to work outside of the home, I got to work at home and was able to spend so much quality time with and see him go through all his first year milestones.

Downtime
This year brought so much downtime and I loved it! I was able to indulge in self care this year when my son allowed me to.
Family & Friends
Last but not least, I am thankful for my family and for my friends that I can consider family. They are my strength and I am happy that I can lean on them when times are rough.

Name one thing that you are thankful for in 2020
Until the next post…

Live with purpose, Love with passion, Laugh with pleasure

Your such an inspiration! If I had to pick only one thing I was thankful for this year. I would have to honestly say quarantine time as well. It has given me a chance in my (what use to be insanely busy life) to see what I hadn’t been seeing, and learning what I have never learned. More time with family even though it has been online and through zoom. It has brought us all closer and reminded us of what we took for granted before. Thank you for such a great inspiring post! And a chance to share what I am thankful for this year 🙂
Great to read your thankful for list. I agree that although this year has been a roller coaster most of us can find positivity around us. Here’s hoping 2021 brings a final end to this pandemic and cheer for everyone
Thank you for sharing, we always need to remember how much we really have to be grateful for, it can be easy to forget! This year, above all, it is essential to focus on gratitude.
Beautiful post! Gratitude is the highest or strongest energy associate with great happiness. A grateful heart rewires the brain to the perspective of the positive side for whatever happens to us.
Such wonderful things to be thankful for!:)
One thing I am thankful for from this crazy year is that we rescued 2 senior Yorkies right before everything shut down here at the end of March. They give me joy and purpose every single day and so much love! 🙂
